The little eyes were burning brightly behind the trickle of the waterfall, staring out at the world defiantly. They were slate gray, an unnatural color to some. But to others, if you looked hard enough, and thought long and hard, you could find the natural youngster inside them. Until someone did see such a thing, she was stuck as a monster. Lips sealed, vocal cords dusty and mis-used, and a stronger mind than some, she was an obvious target for bullying. But no more. She was willing to strike back, no matter if her body was too battered and bruised to do such a thing at the moment. She would heal, and with her healing would come a new strength, that gift she /needed/ to earn a living, to gain her own rights.
Her current abilities were weak, and they were no help at all. She had recently learned to send images and thoughts into another persons mind, but that was only a simple form of Hypnosis. Nothing too special, nothing that would benefit her, unless she for any reason wanted to fill a person with false memories. It sure would help if someone had amnesia, and she had been there for most of their lives. But she hadn't. She was too young, and no one person had ever become acquainted with her enough to trust her, or for her to trust them. It would probably never happen, the way things were going.
With these twisted thoughts, the eyes burned even brighter, with the pure intent of revenge. Hatred consumed her sane thoughts, and used these thoughts as fuel for a burning fire. The fire was too bright, it hurt her inside, but she let it be. Whenever she tried to stop such a consumption of sane thoughts, it hurt her even more, gave it even more fuel to burn on. So it was always easier to just go to sleep. And when she woke up, it was normally gone.
With a heavy sigh, uncharacteristic for such a young girl, she closed her eyes, leaned against a moss covered wall, and fell asleep. The waterfall's roaring became a dim noise in the background, and was like a lullaby. With a more contented sigh, she fell into a deep slumber, and was happy to be released of the fire of hatred and vengeful thoughts.

A pair of golden eyes stared at the moon, about another day or two and it would be full. It was a fate that this sixteen year old girl could never escape. But lately, she started thinking it as a gift. It occurred to her that maybe instead of it being a curse, it was something that made her unique. Now that she had been at the school for about a year, she learned to control it. And yet, she's killed people because of it. She was a monster, "A werewolf..." she whispered, letting the word slip out of her mouth.
Her eyes closed, and she fell back into her past. Always picked on, never understood. Never appreciated. Never loved. And yet she always took the ridicule, the embarrassment. And one time. Just one time, she stood up for herself. And she was the one to pay for it. She made her hand into a fist, and flames engulfed her hand. Never again would she let herself be bullied or picked on. Never would she allow it.
She raised her hand to eye level, watching her hand, and the flames that dance between her fingers. She sighed, and flicked her hand off of the flames. She turned, about to leave, when in the corner of her eye she spotted a small body. Her head tilted and her eyes grew to curiosity.
Slowly and silently she inched towards the sleeping body. She squinted her eyes as much as she could, but she couldn't see anything. She raised her hand in a thumbs up and her thumb flicked a fire, like a lighter. The light was dim, but it was enough. She saw a little girl, asleep. She leaned closer, jabbed her finger in the girls shoulder, in a poke.
Many things went through her mind, Who's little girl is this?, Why is she here all by herself?, Why did i just poke her?. She bit her lower lip, She couldn't just leave her here. And yet, she never got compassion or mercy as a child. So why should this one be any different from her? She sighed, she wouldn't be like all the people who put her down.So she stood her ground, and waited either for the girl to wake up or if the girl didn't wake up she'd poke her again.

A low moan was released through her once sealed lips. Who could that be? another one of those rude men, trying to take her who knows where? No, they would have just taken her, if that was the case. With a heavy sigh, she opened her eyes to stare at the older girl standing next to her. What did she want? If she knew anything about the world, she could tell you. Never trust a stranger. She sat up immediately, and stared at the girl for a long time. The questions were continuously asked in her tiny head. What did she want? Was there any meaning to the strange thoughts inside her head? She was standing her ground, thinking of some sort of path. It would be rude for her to delve into that.
So she stayed out of that section of thoughts, and turned to the thoughts of the moon. Ah, yes. The beautiful moon, hanging above the world, the complete opposite to the sun. It reminded her of the relationship between Normals to Gifteds. She shook her head slightly. She'd rather not think about that sort of thing. With another heavy sigh, she looked into the girls eyes, and stayed her own ground. She'd rather not speak first... She was still too tired, and the usual protection of her true ways began to spring up. This girl was indeed a Gifted... But the girl knew not what the other was. So it was safe, for now. If only for a short while...

The girl blinked, and she wondered why this girl didn't say anything. It was like she wanted her to speak first. She bit her lower lip and cleared her throat. "Shouldn't you be with your momma or something? There's bad things like monsters and crap here....Or something like that..." She said, a little meaner than she should have said. Hey you cant blame her, she isn't really a sympathetic people person.

Monsters? The way the other girl said it, it seemed to lack purpose. So she ignored that, and thought long and hard about the whole Mother thing. That was hard to answer. So, in return, she asked a question. Just like the presidents did, strange as it was.
~What if my mother didn't exist? Then what? Would the monsters come after me, or consider /me/ the monster?~ She went a little overboard with these questions, but she found them necessary. As she spoke them into the girls mind, she was prepared to be shunned, to be bullied, to be beaten with sticks and rocks and fists.

Saxxon seemed confused for a minute, was it the girl talking? Why did she hear it in her head? She was pretty sure she didn't see her lips move. She looked around and spun around in a circle, until she focused on the girl. Maybe thats how she spoke. She took a deep breath and focused on the girls questions. "If your mom didn't exist you wouldn't be here." she said with a sigh. "And what would i know about them. I'm not an expert." she turned away from the girl, "I'm sorry, I'm used to being alone up here." she mumbled. She turned back towards the girl, the way she had this kind of face that was waiting for anything. Like she's been hurt before and she was waiting for it now. For some reason, Saxxon felt that in a way they were alike a little bit.

She couldn't exactly put words to the way she felt. Sure, she wasn't an expert. everyone who was Gifted was a Monster. They just didn't know it. Normals were Monsters, too. With a frown and a sigh, she glared at the girl. She was analyzing her, and so, in turn, she analyzed back. She was older. of course she was older. What was with her today? letting out another sigh, she looked up to stare at the sky, and then the girl.
The way the girl had looked confused, when she first spoke, it gave her a sickening smile, but then it was wiped away. Smiling was never very good, when it came to being around others of her kind. The smiles were never real, and always strained. So she avoided facial expressions most of the time.
Sure, a Mother doesn't have to exist. If you were a Robot, or that weird lizard species that's all male and can still reproduce. She came to these findings surprisingly fast, and her eyes burned happily. There was always a possibility when it came to impossible. She hadn't smiled, not since she was first born. But suddenly, she was smiling her tiny little smile, the one that made her serious little face turn into a dreamy, happy one.
This caught her off guard, and she instantly rubbed her hands over her face, almost in annoyance. These feelings... They were truly perplexing to the 5 year old. And so, her face ended up to look confused, almost scared at these strange new things.

Saxxon blinked, was this girl just being difficult on purpose? She stared at the ground and kicked a rock over the edge of the water fall with a flick of her foot. She looked back up at the girl, "Okay....lets forget the mom thing. What are you doing here by yourself...?"
Saxxon started wondering why she was interrogation the girl. Its not like she was dangerous. But then again, Saxxon didn't know anything about her. For all she knew, the girl probably killed a freaking village or something. She looked at the girl up and down, nah. She also questioned why she was still here. Saxxon sighed deeply and rubbed her forehead with her hand. She already had a headache.

She growled at the thought of her killing an entire village.
I would never be able to kill a whole village on my own.The thought was nearly yelled into the woman's head. How dare that woman think of her that way. Suddenly, she saw how rude she had acted, and blushed. Sorry. You could say that my people skills are lacking quite a bit She said sheepishly, before sighing yet again, and staring after the rock the girl had kicked. Her eyebrows were crushed together for a moment as she thought hard about trying that herself. Maybe that was her third power, immortality.
No, it couldn't be. Why would those rude men chase after her if she was immortal? That just meant they were stuck with a 5 year old girl who couldn't do much of anything else. So that idea was thrown out. She turned to the latest question.
I am here because this place /was/ empty before we came, and because it's beautiful here. I don't really have anywhere else to be, so this was one of the better choices. Compared to that strange little village... She trailed off, shivering slightly at the thought of that place. All she could tell about the place was that it wasn't going to welcome her with open arms.

Saxxon frowned and her eye's narrowed at the girl. "So you can read minds or something now? Geez. It was just a harmless thought." she said, now she had to control what she was thinking. Saxxon gave a little nod to the girls apology. Its not like she would have cared if she apologized or not. She was so used to rudeness.
She looked around and sat on a boulder, a few feet away from the girl. She was a peculiar one. "Okay so you dont have a mom, and your out here by yourself because you feel like it? ...Your...your very strange. Whats your name? Or do you not have one?" she said, her eyes staring into the girls.
